Stock - Managing Warehouses

Warehouses are the physical locations from which stock is dispatched and received. Navigate to Stock → Warehouses to view and manage all warehouse records.

The Warehouses Screen

The screen lists all active warehouses in your account. Each row shows: Warehouse (name), Code, Suburb, Email Address, Phone Number. Use the search bar to find a specific warehouse.

Creating a Warehouse

Click New Warehouse to open the warehouse form. Enter the warehouse name, Code (a short identifier), address details (Suburb, State, Postcode), and contact details (Email Address, Phone Number). Save to create the record.

Warehouse Detail View

Click any warehouse name to open its detail view. The tabs are:

  • Stock On Hand — current stock quantities held in this warehouse, by product

  • Receipts — goods received into the warehouse from purchase orders

  • To Receive — purchase order lines awaiting receipt

  • Dispatches — goods dispatched from this warehouse

  • To Dispatch — sales order lines allocated but not yet dispatched

  • Deliveries — delivery records for outbound shipments

  • Transfers — inter-warehouse stock transfers in and out

  • Adjustments — manual stock quantity corrections

  • Locations — warehouse zones or bin locations

  • Holdings — stock holdings by product and location

  • All Holdings — a consolidated view across all locations

  • Assets — assets physically located at this warehouse

  • Inactive Assets — archived or decommissioned assets at this warehouse

Archived Warehouses

Click View Archived Warehouses to see warehouses that have been deactivated. Archived warehouses do not appear in dispatch or receipt workflows.

Reports

Click Reports on the Warehouses screen to access the Stock Valuation report for a selected warehouse and date. See Stock - Stock Valuations for details on generating and reading valuation records.TODO
