Sales - Tracking Deals

Track deals through pipeline stages and keep the Sales pipeline view current.

The Deals index gives sales and operations staff visibility of every deal and where it sits in its lifecycle, from initial pricing through fulfilment to completion.

The Deals Index

Navigate to Sales → Deals. Deals are grouped across four status tabs:

  • Draft — the deal is being built and priced and has not yet been approved.

  • Active — the deal is approved and in fulfilment (builds, assets, dispatch, invoicing).

  • Completed — the deal is fully fulfilled and invoiced.

  • Cancelled — the deal was stopped before completion.

Each row shows the deal reference and customer. Click a deal to open its record, where you can view the financials, builds, comments and history.

The Deal Record

A deal record shows the Customer, Entity, BMS Reference and Financed By details, the linked Sales Order, the deal financials (including the Pricing Level), and the Builds that make up the deal. From here you progress each build through fulfilment. See Sales - Fulfilling a Deal.

Tracking the Pipeline

Earlier-stage prospecting — opportunities that have not yet become deals — is tracked in the CRM module under Opportunities. See CRM - Managing Opportunities.
